This week, the France-based 3D printing service bureau Sculpteo has unveiled new technologies from outside of the additive manufacturing family, laser engraving (or laser etching) services. This subtractive technology uses a laser beam to change the surface of an object, and is generally used to create engraved images upon a material. Although the new addition is a different type of technology, it will enhance the vast 3D printing services that Sculpteo is already known for offering.
