    Agreed..., but it is a special case in the code, so might be worth testing the combined as well the individual homing operations.

    Ok well this is weird . I just upgraded to a E3D v6 , reflashed the firmware and now its not doing it anymore . I didnt change anything in the start code from previously. I cant see how the new hotend can cause that so it must have been a glitch when i first installed the firmware and reuploading it fixed it.
