    Thermistors - I am confused.

Well basically what happened is my cat ate the thermistor that came with my Cobblebot. Really, more likely the cat chewed it in half and I didn't know what the other half was so I threw it away.

Anyways, as you can tell I am new the 3d printing, and I need a thermistor. I am thinking about getting these ones, http://www.amazon.com/RepRap-Thermis...A1IGO1KB58B88F

but I don't really know if that will or or if it's what I need? I just want the cheapest option to get my printer going.

The hardware specs are a RAMPS 1.4 board, and the printer uses a Hexagon Hotend. Will that thermistor work? And also, which type would that be considered? Is it a type 1?

    Thanks for reading!

This would be a Type 11 Thermistor in Marlin's Configuration.h. You would replace the bad one with this and edit the table to say you have a Type 11 there now. $.99 with free shipping.

That seems way cheaper. And just to ask the stupid obvious question, they're compatible with each other, i.e. the hexagon hotend, RAMPS 1.4 & those thermistors (just double checking).

    Thanks for answering
