    3D Printed Kid-Sized Rocket Ship

When Chris Knowlton was looking to create a toy for his grandson, he couldn't have done better than designing and produced a pint size rocket ship and moon rover. The vehicles and their accessories were designed in Autodesk Inventor and then prepared for 3D printing using Simplify3D. After over 300 hours, the 195 pieces were ready for assembly and two astronaut occupants were printed to complete the set. Nice. Surprised I didn't see it show up in the 3D libraries I usually go to even for a fee.
