Craziest 3D Printed shoe Yet - Marla Marchant's

Marla Marchants 3D Printed Footwear. Just thought these were pretty col, or at least my wife did who has a total shoe obsession. It's pretty hard to make something like this without 3D printing. Just shows the kind of creativity which 3D printing is allowing.

Wow! That's an interesting concept. It could be a radically different experience walking on such things. So the weight would be transmitted to compression in the bows seems to be the idea, it just doesn't nearly look like that would be strong enough. Her website says it is printed titanium, so maybe it could work, but I'd still want to see someone walking in these. I think it's a beautiful idea to essentially have the foot suspended by wires and I'm interested in how the walking experience would be, but I can't say that as shoes they are beautiful.
