The topic of 3D printing and education has been ongoing since the technology became popular--and also as manufacturing companies began to make it very clear that they had a lot of empty jobs with no employees holding the proper skillsets to fill them. In a great show of commitment to education students from kindergarten through college, The Association of IT Leaders in Education (AiTLE), Baptist Rainbow Primary School, DTSL, and Makers Empire all came together to make a new Guinness World Record--this one for the most people in one venue together for a software demonstration. With the topic being 3D printing and water, over 900 students were treated to presentations, as well as the 3D software demonstration from Makers Empire and DTSL. 3D printers and more were also offered as prizes in a big drawing open to those attending.
