Top Cover Mod for FFCP?

Looking for a different top solution for my FFCP. I've always disliked the 'plexi-tower', and almost purchased the Dreamer because of it.

Does anyone know what the dimension are for the Dreamer Lid? Would it be possible to get details pictures of how the Dreamer accomplishes this?

My Idea.

Lid would have to be in 2 pieces, a stationary section that would have to be fixed to the frame of the FFCP which would allow the tubing (and wiring) to pass through above the z-assm., and then a hinged section for service and viewing.

I have a FFCP clone that I'm considering making front and top covers for. I have some experience with acrylic fabrication.
Post some photos of the current design and I'll give it some thought.

There's No need for covers or lids !
you need Air flow around the stepper-motors to cool them, they get way Hot !
Top and side covers really get in the way when working on or cleaning the printer,
and greatly limit access to printed objects as needed.
Change nozzle and bed temps to controls temps.

Sure they 'Look Cool', but really Not needed !

Just use a sheet-plastic cover, like a table-cloth, to keep out dust, small animals, Nosey-neighbors, etc. LOL

I don't print with ABS, so I never use covers...

Yeah, I pretty much only print with ABS.

No, I only use a dust cover, when printer is not being used.

All printers need Good air-flow, around all components,
even when using ABS filament.
Even though the ABS don't seem to Like it ! LOL
