Arcam just announced that their Montreal, Canada-based metal powder manufacturing subsidiary, AP&C, recently filed two patent applications. The patents are both related to the production of metal powder materials for use with metal 3D printing technology. The first patent involves a new process to produce fine powder materials in large quantities without the risk of ceramic contamination, while the second involves a new method of obtaining a high rate of metal powder flowability.
