Exclamation Need to Preheat nozzles to Higher, Not Lower Temp, than print temp !

I found that our printer has a problem getting to software set nozzle operating temp,
if the nozzle Preheat is set Lower than print temp.
(takes very long time if it ever gets there)
But if Preheat is set Higher than operating temp there is No problem.

When we first got printer I set preheat 5 C below print temp but quickly saw that preheat needed to be Higher.

Is that Normal, or is there something odd about the way our printer's firmware or hardware is acting ??

    seems pretty odd to me.
The print temps always over ride my preheat temps.

I'm not sure what options your printer has, but my flashforge creator has this option "Gcode Temp Override"under utilities > general settings.

When this is enabled it uses the temp set in the preheat settings instead of the G-Code. It's specifically useful if you'rd doing ditto printing with both extruders but want different temperatures.

That would be Great to have !

I wonder if that is in the Sailfish firmware update ??
    It's definitely a sailfish thing.
