OpenBionics, the creator of the $200 bionic prosthetic hand, was selected as one of the semifinalists for the 2015 Hackaday Prize. The bionic hand is capable of one hundred and forty four unique grasping motions using sixteen combinations of finger positions and is controlled with a single motor. The hand can be built for less than $200 with 3D printed parts and easy to source components.
