Louis Lee decided to create an off road RC car for his course in Solidworks at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. He had already created a standard RC car for the course but wasn't satisfied with leaving his learning there. Salvaging the non 3D printed parts from his first car, he set about creating the rough riding model using those parts but with the dressing of a trophy truck. He worked diligently to keep the overall volume of the vehicle to a minimum and to reduce the need for extra screws and connectors. By the end of the class, he had a fully functional, all terrain RC vehicle, ready for whatever might be in its path.
