I thought they probably were. One reason I asked is I read a post where someone had extrusion issues and found out they had a Rep 2 selected instead of a Rep 1 and someone pointed out that the extruder stepper value is different between the two.

The profiles for Rep 1, Flashforge CP, QIDI, Microcenter Power Spec, etc are all essentially the same.

I ran the extrusion multiplier to .95 and it is better. I will try 220 and see how that does. I was at 230.

What are you using for retract on the ABS?

I slow down the extrusion rate on the Hatchbox ABS as it. I print it at 220c 110c bed temp.
I didn't change any profiles.
I've been using S3D for a couple weeks now and it allows better control.
My Soultech ABS I run 230c and 110c temps at 1.72 for filament dimensions.

Just got in the extruder cleaning filament strips. So far I am liking the concept. $11 from Amazon for 50 pieces so maybe not the cheapest but I think it is going to be worth it.

Hey Syd, welcome back! Your printer just has to be convinced that you still care. It's been so long since you made anything. I swear 90% of the task sometimes is convincing the hardware that it actually works like you want it to... PLA Raptor?

Naw, just some good'ol ABS stuff.

Problem is its still to humid here and I have no PVC stickers left, so I'm stuck printing on strait glass right now.
