    Opinion:

I am going to be designing a small box to hold a small solar panel and electronics for a remote temperature sensor. Should I use PLA or ABS for outdoor use? It will get weather and a lot of direct sunlight and a broad range of temperatures. Would asnother material be good?

I am not expecting it to las

I would use ABS, PeTG, or Nylon for something like that. Though I have seen some colors of ABS do not hold up to well to sun bleaching/discoloration.

ABS or PeTG are supposed to be the best for outdoors. Nylon is ok but can break down faster due to the way it reacts with water I am reading.

Not the upper end of the Nylon spectrum.

Of course, these Qidi machines not even fit to print most of the low-grade Nylons stock...so kinda a moot point.

True, the temps are too high for most nylon on the QIDI.
PetG I'm going to print with tomorrow.
I've been going over the PetG threads on here to get a good starting point.
    Should be fun.

What do you think about my Alien print?
I did not design him but did print it on the QIDI Tech-1 with Makergeeks PLA.

This is untouched straight off the bed. He is 60mm tall 70mm from to back and about 40 wide.
