Chad Barrett, inspired after first seeing the Mark One 3D printer from MarkForged at a trade show this past January, has come together with Denver-based 3D Printing Store to offer the world's first carbon fiber-reinforced wallet. The HALO wallet, now on Kickstarter, is a lightweight (just 0.5 oz) and strong wallet sure to keep money in place with the help of a strong EPDM rubber Ranger Band from Gearward. The Kickstarter campaign runs through August 22 as Barrett seeks to raise $2,500 for the production, with backers able to secure their own wallet for just $42-62.
