A group of four students at the University of Lincoln's College of the Arts burst onto the scene earlier this summer by winning the inaugural Designing the Future Competition hosted by Cubify. One member of the group, Joshua Thorpe, gave an interview with 3DPrint.com and described the creation of the interior products that comprise a bespoke line soon to be offered under the company White Matter. Using a DLA software, they imported STL files and then seeded them with a fractal that was bounded by or excluded from the imported form. The final creation was then 3D printed in ABS plastic. So far, the collection consists of a pendant luminaire, a chair, and a table. Check them out here: http://3dprint.com/83372/3d-printed-fractal-designs/
