SWFL 3D printing has unveiled plans for a new large format 3D printer. This one, however, is quite different from what you are used to seeing. The Mille 3D Printer is a 3D printer built into standard shipping containers. It has the ability to have expansion modules added onto it, for shredding and extruding filament, as well as for solar power, battery power and more. While the idea is still only a concept, Andy Tran of SWFL 3D plans to either open source the design on this forum, or commercially sell kits for turning a shipping container into these large scale machines.
