A rather talented designer named Bo Noergaard Silkeborg has set out to create one of the coolest pieces I have seen in a while, a retro scuba helmet with patina and all. Silkeborg printed the helmet in 26 separate pieces using his XYZ da Vinci 3D printer. He then painted it meticulously with copper paint and allowed patina to grow on it. He even decided to 3D print his own head in order to place it inside the newly fabricated helmet. As you can see from images below, the helmet has turned out quite nicely.
