    Iron-on 3D Prints

    This Instructables project by Heinzdrei uses a 3D printer to make an iron-on by finding fabric and an adequate image, converting the image into an .2mm layer height STL file, and then printing the image out. Next, you take the print and iron it onto whatever your chosen fabric of the moment is and voila! You now have expanded your 3D printer into a makeshift producer of cool and customized, 3D printed iron-ons! This project, perhaps inspired by designs by "elk" on Thingiverse, allows for a quick 3D print job to customize bags, shirts--you name it! Check out more of the how-to in the full article:
