thats going to be an uphill battle...if youre doing a cylindrical print, try printing in vase mode.

What I print will not work in vase mode. I will just have to play around with it, maybe try the Z antibacklash mod or change the firmware to increase Z acceleration.

    Try these settings in S3D

Under the extruder tab under Ooze control

Check mark Retraction, Coast at End and Wipe Nozzle

    retraction distance = 3.00mm
    extra restart distance = 0
    Retraction Verical Lift = 0
    Retraction Speed = 15
    Coasting Distance = 0.20
    Wipe Distance = 5.00

Under the Advanced tab under Ooze control Behavior

    Check only

    Force retraction between layers
Only wipe extruder for outer-most perimeters

    Leave the rest unchecked

Is retraction speed a little low. Maybe that's why you still getting the layer change bloob.

I have tested your settings and the cylinder is not 100% perfect it is really close to what it was previously. The inside layer change blobs are a lot better but on the oustide you can see the same issues as pictured on the original post.

Do you have it set to print outside perimeters first or last?

You may try to reverse it so that it prints inside first.

Do you have anything set under Extruder/ooze control/extra restart distance? To me it almost looks like you have a negative value set there as it doesn't look like you are extruding a enough material after the retract when it is starting the next layer. You could try to put a positive value in there and see if it looks any better. That will extrude a bit more material at the start of the extrusion.

Or if those marks are at the end of your extrusion you may try to disable the Coast at end setting under the same tab.
