Renowned paleoarchaeologist, Dr. Louise Leakey, has teamed up with software giant, Autodesk, to make millions-year-old fossils available for viewing and study online. People around the world can marvel at stone tools that are more than 3 million years old thanks to Autodesk’s free software, Memento, which enabled Dr. Leakey and her team to convert photographs and scans of important artifacts that demonstrate the ingenuity of early humans. The virtual models on the site African Fossils are online and can be studied and even 3D printed.
