    what caused this print Failure

    sorry about that.
    as you can see by the picture the purge wall for the part did not adhear to the plate
    but the purge wall for the raft & support did did.
    the part also adhered to the Kapton.

    Perhaps that is what you can see but what I can see are four items on a build plate, one of them seems to be a 10 mm cube. I have no idea what the plastic is or the temperatures it was printed at. I don't know if the build plate was levelled before the print was started. I don't know what the items are supposed to look like. I suspect your build plate is not flat. I have no idea what slicer was used in fact there is so much I don't have any idea about that you are lucky I am replying at all, like most people I generally don't bother replying if the guy asking can't be bothered to say anything.

    The white is ABS @ 230°.
    The green is HIPS @ 250°
    the bed is 110°
    The bed is level

    I am going to take my OHM meter/temp guage and check the temp at the Nozzles.

    OK, the ABS is not sticking to the bed. What kind of material is the bed (kapton, PEI, glass) and what do you use as 'glue' (hairspray, abs slurry, UHU stick)?

    PS: As an aside: a bed of 110 C is too high for ABS, use approx 95 C instead. The over-abundant mentioning of 110 C for ABS is years old and dead wrong. The glass point of ABS is around 105 C and you should keep the bed below that.

    Thanks for the info.
    I will drop the bed temperature.
    I am printing on Kapton and I wipe the bed with acetone before each print (starting with bed cold)
    I have an elmers purple glus stick but have not used it yet.

    You will need more than kapton to get abs to stick. Either heavy-duty hairspray, PVA glue stick or abs slurry.
