3D printed prosthetics, from groups like e-NABLE, have been one of the most supported areas of this technology, and now a USC student named Michael Repajic is seeking to bring them to the streets -- literally. Repajic, a post-baccalaureate premed student, is looking for support in his mission to help create 3D printed prosthetic hands and arms for LA's homeless population in need. With a first candidate, who stays at the Midnight Mission shelter, Repajic has turned to the 3D Hubs community to find support. Seeking first to create two or three such prosthetics, Repajic ultimately intends to create his own non-profit organization and seek crowdfunding via Kickstarter. Currently Repajic is looking for anyone who has a 3D printing lab, and is willing to help him on his project. He asks that they contact him via email at: michaelrepajic[at]gmail[dot]com or on 3DHubs.com.
