3D Printing may lead to better exploration of Mars

A student from Oklahoma State University, Aavron Estep, is heading up a group of 30 students researching ways to create 3D printable tools and components that could aid with the exploration of Mars. His team is looking at what materials and components could withstand the harsh environmental conditions on the red planet, and his work could even lead to self-repairing and -replicating robotics here on Earth.
