It's Earth Day and that means one thing. It's time to clean up the planet. This Earth day, a new joint venture was announced between two companies, ALGIX and 3D Fuel. Together they are producing 3D printer filaments made with algae, meaning that they will be much much quicker to biodegrade, and are not harmful to the environment like other materials such as ABS. Both companies have extensive backgrounds in their fields. ALGIX is known for their SOLAPLAST plastics while 3D Fuel is known for their Fuel in a Box filament spools.
