Bold Machines, an initiative at Stratasys started up by former MakerBot CEO Bre Pettis, has been fairly quiet on the news front lately, following a bold entrance upon the September launch, including news about and 3D printable figures for a 3D printed feature film called 'Margo.' For the last few months, though, Bold Machines hasn't been on the radar as much, as they've been pretty quiet since about year-end. A few days ago, though, Chicago-based artist Ryan McClure -- who designs toys, prints, and illustrations for Rocketboy Customs, his company -- posted a blog about his new 3D printed character, Nohwitz. The character, it turns out, has been developed as part of a partnership with Bold Machines over the last six months. We still don't know much about Nohwitz (the "office know-it-all that absolutely knows nothing") except that the fun design is modular, and he will officially debut in May.
