    TinyBoy 3D Printer

The TinyBoy, a 3D printer which is the result of years of hard work by Hong Kong designer Parker Leung, is, quite simply, small and affordable. An open-source design, the creators estimate that you can download the files and 3D print it yourself for about $130 but you will need a laser cutter than can add an expense of up to $400 if you don't have one, as the main material for the TinyBoy is acrylic. Featuring a clear design, the 3D printer is made for young people who want to use the small build plate of 8.5 x 8.5 x 8.5 cm for making small figurines and toys. The TinyBoy is smaller than many 2D copiers, and perfect for the desktop, or due to the price and simplicity, perfect for making an entire lab of your own or for your classroom.
