Gruppo Meccaniche Luciani has been designing and producing molds, socket punches and technical tools for footwear and leather goods since 1969, and now they say their artisans are using 3D printing to speed their product development process and create new paths to fashion. The company used the Objet500 Connex3 Color Multi-Material System to print out a collection of complex structures which include shoes, a top, and a handbag from Stratasys VeroBlack material.
