Just ordered my 8" i3v kit the other day, been reading about printers for 6 years now and decided I couldn't wait any longer.

I always notice that (new) people usually have trouble setting the proper belt tension, it seems to be a common question/problem along with cracking the frames of the cheaper acrylic printers.

The thing is, I've never seen anybody use a small torque wrench or belt tension gauge to try and fine the optimal tension. Same with the general assembly (Especially on cheaper acrylic-frame printers that seem to always crack). I really think some kits would benefit from having torque specifications in the manual.

Is there a reason for this, or is just not considered a big enough problem to go to these lengths to solve?
