EasyJet is going full force, using many new technological advancements and innovations at hand so that jets log more time in the air and less time on the ground, making for better workflow and much happier passengers. They have developed a smart app which streamlines nearly everything for customers, as well as an app for the Apple Watch. EasyJet is also planning to begin using unmanned drones for inspections and routine maintenance in their European facilities. They have also ordered 3D printed parts for jet engines that will be used in next generation aircraft, as well as plans for using 3D printing in replacing cabin parts--like arm rests.
