Chinese company Atom is looking to increase the appeal of Delta style printers with their introduction of what they call "the most refined Delta printer yet." Their new Atom 2.0 3D printer is an impressive, sturdy machine with a modular design made completely of metal. Featuring a triple fan system that enables precision and fast speeds, a belt clamp system, and a single extruder that can be swapped out for either a double extrusion attachment or laser engraver, the Atom 2.0 is certainly upping the ante in this category of 3D printers. The Atom 2.0 is currently on ZecZec, a Chinese crowdfunding site, and reached its goal easily shortly after going live. The pre-order price is just $1,599, and first units will ship out in May.
