Also try increasing your wall thickness. In terms of base plate adhesion, Elmer's glue stick all the way - best solution out there by far.

I usually do my parts in cold acetone for 55 minutes. I set my timer on my phone so I don't forget. :)

Sounds like it's clogged. In many cases, disassembly an extruder head is quite easy - the nozzle usually just unscrews for example. I had to do this last week - I soaked the metal parts in acetone...
