Just add in the End G-code something like G1 Z100 or something like that depending on the zheight
If you have multiple things connected to the pi you need a powered usb. It can only supply a limited amount of current.
For that kind of price the prusa i3 is by far the best choice you can make, otherwise you can build a kossel mini for a bit cheaper than that.
Do you have a fan on the heat sink ? That would explain the heat creep.
Oh psch, you could have easily skipped the lmgtfy. haha
That makes sense. You don't happen to have an squirrel cage fan recommendations do you? haha
I am using a bowden setup, but the extruder is "floating" above it with a counterweight to keep all the weight off of the effector, but with a very small bowden tube to negate as much of the...
Stratasys recommends a chamber temp of 70-90, I put 90 as an upper limit to what I'd be hitting. Does your Wanhao use an E3DV6? I don't believe that my stepper motors can handle that kind of heat...
I want to watercool my hot end and my extruders and the NEMA17s are operating within spec, they are rated for 2A, but they are going to be subjected to a high heat chamber (90C).
A fan on my...
Hey guys, I'm looking for advice or suggestions about watercooling my Delta printer. I'm using it to experimentwith very, very high speed printing. It's going to have a heated chamber with a max most...
Hmm, Aquanet hairspray, 2 for $5 (11oz each) so $5 for 22oz vs $20 for 2oz. It would cost $220 dollars to get the same amount of wolfbite in oz as $5 in hairspray which works perfectly fine. It's 44...
Use makexyz.com
Core XY is a very nice platform, I just don't like dealing with Z-wobble.
"OneUP" for the Makerbot Cupcake. It's a good basic machine.
I am going to disagree with you here. If he gets a dirt cheap printer, a fake chinese hotend is going to give him a boatload of troubles. I have seen hotends literally just fall apart.
A car is...
The Phantom printer so far is what it says it is, a phantom. It is difficult to invest in a product, where promises are made, but no prototypes have been shown to be operating at all. I always run by...
I find it hard to believe that a 3D printer is really "necessary", its a luxury hobby tool/toy at this point. If it's for business, then you should already have enough capital. If it's for a project...
First time I have ever seen a historical section in a 3d model website, impressive.
Prototyping as well as DIY projects which bring down the price overall drastically with 3d printed materials.
1.75mm Black PLA by far, it just matches with everything.
Stronger parts of my existing prints such as a comb or knife.
Build Volume and quality in that order.
I would use the 3D doodler to bond to filament rolls together.
Mainly prototyping pieces to later be casted in resin.
