It actually disappears. I have to try computer reboot and also have another computer to try that hasn't been hooked up to this printer. If it still does it then I lost something in firmwear. I was...
RP = Repetier Host
I was printing and like a dummy I plugged in an Arduino via USB to program it and it killed my print.
So I shut down RP and rebooted to start fresh print and when I try to connect to printer the...
i3v 10"
Started printing the parts and the extruder block in 1.75 and in 3mm says not manifold.
Did you print it anyway?
Definitely loose connection. Have to disagree about not soldering though. I soldered all electrical connections for 20+ years for house, commercial. and industrial wiring and had zero issues for...
Mine came with nothing! But, then Colin sent me the solid ones. Read on another site they are stiffer/less deflection.
2nd the vote purple glue stick and it cleans off easy.
Anyone using 12" plus beds in a home hobbiest setting?
What large things do you print?
I use rafts when a wide brim won't keep it stuck to the bed. Parts with minimal contact usually.
Just want to build parts to repair, replace, fun, robots, quadcopters, build more printers!
Thanks! That put it into perspective for me.
OK so draw 2 parts in Blender, export 2 stl's. How do you put them together in slicer?
If I design an objet in Blender, Do I state in Blender the colors to use or is it programmed somewhere else?
Or said another way, how does the printer know what color/extruder to use when printing?
For what it's worth I used 12gauge for power and I used pipe wrap insulation (yellow fiberglass) under the glass. Cost about $5 at Lowe's/HD and three piece fit perfectly under the 10" bed. And...
I'm running a used 80mm fan with a bracket I drew up in blender. Mounted it below the RAMPS slight angle forward blowing up on the RAMPS. Drilled holes on the side to mount.
