It's just arrived. It's quite bendy. More cuttable than scoreable I think. It's 0.6mm thick.
If I were considering buying one of these (I'm not honest, I'm broke) where would be the best place to get it? I'm in the UK.
I've been reading this thread and while I appreciate the recommendation I'm not sure that 44 pages of mods make it a printer suitable for noobs ;)
I must admit they do look very graceful in action. Are they 'better' than Cartesian printers?
Is it sensible for a beginner to tackle a delta printer kit?
Thanks very much
It's my first. I'm still getting to grips with it but it's good fun. Well worth the money.
No it's a Malyan M200
Apparently it's possible to cut it with scissors according to Jason. I asked because I want some for my M200.
I've been buying from Colortank on Amazon (UK) at 10 quid a kilo. It seems like good stuff. I'm a noob and I've not (yet) had any problems with it.
At least Project Aslan is trying to do something. Apart from criticising other people's efforts what are you doing?
If you're in the UK Solent Plastics do what they call 'scuba boxes' which have hermetically sealed lids for reasonable prices.
I was asking about registering rather than attending. Anyway I've now registered with my new company :D
I looked at the registration page but it appears only companies can register. Is that right?
Can 'ordinary people' go or do you have to be in the industry?
