Just so everyone knows, the hardware in the Matter and Form is almost exactly the same as in the Fabscan (http://hci.rwth-aachen.de/fabscan), just that the Fabscan is cheaper and has better software...

I've spent the last five hours trying to get it to work, and nothing I was able to do was able to produce an .STL.

Is that where the printer has been directed to go by the GCODE, or the feedback from where the printer actually is?

I suspect the former. I need the latter.

Certainly, this is amazing, a 0.0014mm layer height is something to write home about! As you said, best an FDM can do is 0.1mm.
