Hey, how's everyone doing!? I've got one non-printer related question before I get into the good stuff. :)
In the past I used to be able to receive private messages and now it seems I'm over my...
Warrens kit looks great and definitely jfk, I've been printing away using the upgrades and have been happy with the overall improvement in quality of the prints and ease of leveling. :)
Currently...
That's good news Jim, let us know if anything goes haywire!
Dave, I don't believe I saw a battery underneath but I could have missed it.
Hopefully you can figure it out, mine is still going strong. Did you have the power cable unplugged while it wasn't in use?
That looks awesome too! What filament did you happen to use for that print?
Very nice Dave! I've printed a few holiday items myself and the tree was one of them. :)
Welcome mmccable, let us know how that turns out with the glass bed. :)
My printer is still going strong and has reached 3000 hours! What are the other QIDI's at right now?
Also wondering if...
Very nice Talon! I ordered some PrintBite and look forward to testing it out.
Doesn't look too bad considering the settings will be refined further. What type of post processing can you do with Ninja Flex?
Very nice, I've printed 5 or 6 of these items from this remix (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:937421) and all the ones I printed were at 30% infill. I have heard other users having issues with the...
Just recommending something that you could print, without doing research I have no idea for the settings.
I'd print a Rubber Duck (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:139894).
There should be a visible difference under a magnifying glass between those two resolutions.
I'd say the shape definitely has a lot to do with it, and the resolution the part was initially...
DaveB is correct and I think you are missing the point. The dry box can be smaller than the printer and decrease load times/spooling issues substantially when setup properly. The bend is easy to...
I've never tried one of those wireless SD cards, I'll have to look into it. Agreed on the SD card size as well, I had ~150 files on the card and it took forever when I wanted to select a file in the...
PM me if you need one by early next week. ;)
It does take forever, I still haven't found a place in the US that can do that price. If you find one I'd be interested.
The stock blue build plate replacement sticker. ;)
How many are you looking for? I ordered them in bulk at ~$3 a pop and might be able to help out.
Is it just the plastic piece that sits on top of the bed arm and rear Z-axis stabilizer bar? Looks effective and should be an easy upgrade for others if the files are available.
It's a nice looking kit and worthwhile if you don't have the 10mm Z-Axis rods.
I have still never hit this issue with any type of filament but I was aware of the stock setup being able to jam the roll with the spool holder and I stopped using it a long time ago. In my drybox...
Nice, it's worked out well for me so far and I like not having to level the build plate so extensively after a long print.
I use 7 top/bottom by default for all my prints and will go to 10...
I print it like it sits on the motor, with the base on the build plate. I found that different filament prints it either better or worse (by brand) but it always works in my testing even for the...
You can use between 14-16 pieces for the cable chain, maybe less. It takes a decent amount of time to print in one shot at a good resolution but it's worth it to have the bumps come out near...
