yeah, you just unscrew the old one and put in the new one. it takes some time since you have to attach the heat plate to the new one but it isn't hard at all.

The Maghold works by removing the existing build plate with a solid piece of aluminum. I think the aluminum is 1/4" thick as well. This plate has embedded magnets that hold the spring steel in place....
I went ahead and replaced all the screws with the old build bed and I'm using these http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:243998 to hold the nuts. Instead of using the wing nuts I'm using the spare nuts...
