Conductive and Carbon Fiber filaments need to improve their effectiveness to be really considered.
-
filament is expensive.more variations on color options,Conductive Materials, different color Wood type filaments, photosensitive filaments in materials other than PLA.
-
Wood filament, it is currently too expensive and because of that, there is now a flood of cheap clones on the market which do not work at all as well as laywoo d3.
-
Though i still haven't tried electronics, i would like to see more conductive materials. This is conjunction to my dream of creating a 3d printer that use metal to print.
-
Better conductive and translucent materials.
-
Prices can always be cheaper.
A conductive material would be perfect - perhaps graphite?
Anything that allows higher quality builds & more complex builds is welcome (even if that means that the parts should be 'baked' afterwards.)
-
What new material do you think the filament market isn't providing, or isn't providing well?
The filament market is not currently providing Ninjaflex at a reasonable cost. Ninjaflex is usually $40 and up for 0.5kg - 0.75kg of filament. I love the material, but I'd print models with it for fun simply because it's too expensive to waste. I limit my usage to stuff that I commonly use, like goggle frames.
-
Being able to print with a highly conductive material is what is the most important new thing to develop for me at the moment.

A FRP (Fiberglass Resin Product)

Hi all,
We have seen flexible filament, but I would like to see more elastic filament, like a rubber band.
Also, I would like to see a material that is magnetic!
Filament with glitters, filament with a nice scent.
All this, for a affordable price of course.
Kind regards,
Natascha
