About SaskInvent
Biography:
SaskInvent is an engineering club at the University of Saskatchewan which focuses on designing and building projects that can benefit individuals and society. Established in 2014, SaskInvent is new to the university and brings together people from engineering, the sciences, and business to work alongside one another concurrently. All projects undertaken revolve around the central theme of helping people. Current projects underway include 3D printed brain models, a prosthetic project, and a book page turning device for people with disabilities. All projects are picked based upon their potential positive impact, likelihood of uptake and integration into the current system, and how feasible the project is. Through SaskInvent students have the opportunity to work on projects that will make a difference by creating solutions to real world problems.
