When the world's largest refiner of oil and gas speaks, people listen. Now Sinopec, the single largest business in China, say they're planning to invest heavily in researching and developing 3D printing materials. Sinopec Chairman Fu Chengyu says that while 2014 was a "challenging year" for petroleum businesses, his company's plans to become involved in 3d printing materials development will be a major part of Sinopec's focus on becoming a "science-based petrochemical company."
