Yesterday in Texas, Come and Take it Texas (CATI) organized a gun rights gathering outside the State Capitol in Austin, voicing their support for House Bill 195, which is designed to eliminate Texas' handgun licensing requirements. At the center of the protest was a CNC device using 3D printed parts: the Ghost Gunner. The Ghost Gunner, from Defense Distributed (makers of the Liberator 3D printed pistol), is a small CNC device capable of machining a receiver for the AR-15 assault rifle, and is an open source project.
