Japanese camera maker Olympus has opened up an initiative in Japan which lets makers and photographers access 3D design files for their Micro Four Thirds digital line. The project includes an SDK and a set of 3D models which allow for accessory creation and Wi-Fi enabled control of the lens/camera line, and though you can only access the files if you're in the Japanese market at this point, expect the company to throw the idea open to the worldwide market soon.
