Netherlands-based Radboud University Medical Center has set up a new division called the REshape Center for Innovation, which has put their focus on an experimental program using 3D printed models from MRIs to educate patients on their health conditions and give them a visual approach as to what is happening within their bodies. A survivor of kidney cancer saw his tumors 3D printed from old files, showcasing the imaging results and educational value of these models.
