ISG 11 3D Printer - By With Bitcoin

For those of you who use Bitcoin, the Canadian-based company ISG has just announced that they are accepting Bitcoin as a form of payment for their new ISG II 3D printer. The printer which is based off of a Prusa i3 design is for sale for $899 prior to taxes. This equates to about 2.3 Bitcoin. Prior to this point the only real 3D printer available for purchase via Bitcoin, which I am aware of, was 3D Systems' Cube on Overstock.com.

Below are some of the general specs of the ISG II:
    • Printer Size: 42cm x 42 cm x 46 cm
    • Build Envelope: 20cm x 20cm x 18cm
    • Print Resolutions: 0.1mm

Further details on this new 3D printer can be found here: http://3dprint.com/34525/isg-ii-3d-printer-bitcoin/
Do you know of any other printers available for purchase with Bitcoin? Let us know!

We first reported on Canada-based ISG 3D's announcement of their first 3D printer back in January, and now the much-anticipated new machine is within two weeks of its launch. ISG 3D told 3DPrint.com about some of the details on their upcoming open-source ISG 11, which will be priced at $899 but built to compete with models in the $2000 range. The photos they've provided us are of the first prototype, and the final product will feature only slight differences from it (with a smaller frame, but the same build volume). The ISG 11 will feature a 20 x 20 x 25 cm build volume and work with ABS and PLA filaments -- and the initial release will be very limited, with 11 machines for pre-order next month. Their ISG 33 3D printer is also in the pipeline, and ISG 3D says that machine will be different in key ways from the ISG 11.
