    Hello Friends......SOS HELP!!

I am brand new to printing. I have a CTC3d Printer. I use Makerbot, meshmix, netfab, simplfy 3d.......oh and I fail at every print I try. To make matters worse I downloaded a lot of expensive models that I do not have a clue of how to get to print.

I have a humpback whale I need to print but the raft keeps scraping itself off the platform.

Then I need to print the parts of a 4 foot submarine models that I make into wet bars.

This new guys needs some advice.

I figured I used to drive nuclear submarine so this should be a cinch....not!!

    Thanks in advance!!

    Don

Read THIS before you do anything else. Pay particular attention to Chapter 5.

If you aren't using Sailfish, don't fret, the extruder calibration procedure is the same.

If you have S3D, they have a very comprehensive troubleshooting advisor. Even if you no longer have problems, it is a nice read and the pictures make it easy to identify what you're dealing with.

    also read this thread: http://3dprintboard.com/showthread.p...-Creator-forum

Geoff covers most of what you need to know :-)

And yeah, once you've got your printer dialled in - they are pretty amazing machines.
