    CreatorBot 3D to Launch Kickstarter Project Next Month

    Tom Kilar and 3D Printerworks will soon be launching a Kickstarter project for the CreatorBot 3D printer. This new printer will feature a very large build volume of 1 foot in each direction. In addition it will be extremely sturdy, built out of anodized aluminum, and very well priced. Tom expects to be able to offer the single extruder version of the CreatorBot for under $1,000, and the dual extruder version for under $1500. The Kickstarter projects will launch sometime in July.     This looks like a solid 3d Printer. Especially for the price.

    What's the light on the extruder?

    The magnetic attachment for the glass seems nice.

    It's so you can see better when watching it print.

    I pulled the trigger on the Dual extruder 18x12x12 model. We just hit the stretch goal, so it is going to include wifi. Can't wait until October.
