KipstR - a 3D printed wristband that controls your TV when you are asleep

Ever fall asleep watching TV? I know, that's a dumb question. Everyone has. Thanks to Virgin Media and two young teenagers, the company is now trialing a 3D printed wristband called the KipstR. It is worn by a TV watcher and when that person falls asleep, it pauses their TiVo, and then begins recording. When the wristband determines that the person has woke up again, it begins playing from wear they left off before dozing off. The band which is 3D printed on a Stratasys Objet Connex 3D printer is being trialed by Virgin Media now. Read and see more about this at: http://3dprint.com/31888/kipstr-virgin-media/

That'd be perfect for a home sick day when you're periodically napping on the couch.

Aside from that niche scenario, the real solution is not to watch TV in bed. It creates horrible habits, to the point where you can't fall asleep without watching TV first.
