3D printing is facilitating progress in more realistic Disney imagery. Disney Research has made great progress capturing a more realistic human eye. Six volunteers in eleven different poses were photographed with closeups on their irises, under differing lighting conditions, to capture the changes occurring in the eye. These photographed images were then strung together to reveal the detailed ways the human eyes changes. This research development may dramatically change the way human eyes are portrayed in your favorite upcoming Disney productions.
