NCSU is getting some very good press lately as they are lauded not only with having produced a future astronaut from their engineering department by way of Christina Hammock, but their Department of Industrial & Systems Engineering has just produced a 3D printed commemorative coin which will be traveling into space in the Orion test capsule, headed for unmanned exploratory mission which will encompass a a two-orbit, four-and-a-half hour trip 3,600 miles away from earth.
