Harvard Graduate School of Design graduates, landscape architects, and co-founders of Ecoid Yongkyu Kim and Jonghyun Baek have collaborated to create Cella. Each Cella is a 3D printed form that is reminiscent of organic objects like sea shells and porous stones. From the holes of the forms sprout plants, which are grown in moss or soil balls inside of the Cella. The idea for Cella grew from a green roof project on which the two graduate students collaborated while still at Harvard.
